I have been toying with various apps etc in shopify, and it seems what I am trying to do isn’t possible. I find it hard to believe something this simple can’t be done though.

What I am looking to do.

I want to have a subscription capped at 100 customers. I’d like them to be charged every month OR annually for a discount.

The issue lies in the inventory it seems. I can’t find a good method to have the stock for this limited to 100, and if someone unsubscribes, that slot gets added back for someone else to jump in and grab.

Is there just not a way to do this in shopify? I am using patreon now, but that complicates things as it requires extra steps and fees that I feel could be avoided.

Any advice is welcomed.
